Stylish. Creative. Organized. Elegant. The personal touch of Josie Littlepage is evident in every facet of her work. Mixing the spectacular with the understated, the dramatic with the classic, she creates memorable affairs, and continuously exceeds the expected with an unmatched level of inspiration, imagination, and innovation.

Her event-planning career began at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. For the next three years, she traveled the world coordinating hundreds of events as an on-site Special Events Director. In 1999, she was promoted to Program Manager where she honed her skills planning a multitude of events, from design to execution, for groups of up to 5000 people.

Following a move to San Francisco in 2000, Josie began mixing together a business plan. Blending together ideas, both shaken and stirred, she soaked in the cosmopolitan feel of the city. During this time, she set the groundwork for her company by planning special events for the highly demanding high-tech market.

In 2002, Josie moved back to her hometown of St. Louis, and it wasn’t long before industry shakers and party planners in the area began talking about a fresh and creative company called Cosmopolitan Events. Since the launch of her company, Josie’s soirees have earned rave reviews, establishing Cosmopolitan Events as one of the premiere party planners in the area. From themed social events, creative corporate events to numerous weddings both in St. Louis and throughout the world, Josie’s attention to detail, strong organization skills, and creative energy have made each of her events dazzling affairs for her clients.

Cosmopolitan Events has been featured in numerous publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, St. Louis Magazine, Saint Louis Bride, Ladue News, Seasons Magazine, Missouri Meetings & Events, and many others. Television features have included segments on WB11 and KMOV Channel 4 in St. Louis. Cosmopolitan Events has also won numerous awards, including the 2004 Louie Award for Best Themed Event, the 2005 Louie Award for Best Corporate Event, and the 2006 Louie Award for Best Wedding, and 2007 awards for Best Wedding, Best Social Event & Best Team Award. Josie was. Josie was also awarded the Certified Special Event Professional-Designation by the International Special Events Society Certification Committee, which is earned through education, performance, experience, and service to the industry, and reflects a commitment to professional conduct and ethics.

Josie lives in St. Louis with her husband Tom, and their two little daughters, Cooper and Lucie. She’s stays connected to the development of the beautiful city of St. Louis, and is involved in many community projects, continually assisting with fundraisers and contributing her time to the progress of downtown and the surrounding areas. With her creative energy and tireless work ethic, Josie pursues the dream of one day having St. Louis be recognized for the outstanding accomplishments of its past, as she shapes its future, one spectacular event at a time.
